ABOUT COLE CLARK HYBRIDS
Cole Clark Guitars had developed a humbucker model guitar that has an added magnetic pickup to the brand's acoustic pickup. Cole Clark Guitars said the compromise for the brand, and the other makers of similar concept guitars, was that it required phosphor bronze strings or the acoustic pickup wouldn't sound correct.
"We have developed a method to control the magnetic level of each pole piece in a magnetic pickup," Cole Clark Guitars said in a PR statement. "So, we have a balanced pickup in a guitar with phosphor bronze strings. We call the first guitars to come from this invention True Hybrid."
Cole Clark Guitars seeks to provide stronger, lighter, and unique instruments for the modern acoustic player.
LEADER IN SUSTAINABILITY
Cole Clark has long been a leader in sustainability. 97% of their guitars contain no endangered timbers. For tonewoods, the company opts to use local timbers like Bunya, Australian Blackwood, Silky Oak and Queensland Maple. For fingerboards and bridges, Cole Clark often chooses Australian hardwoods such as Sheoak and Satin Box instead of rosewood and ebony.
