Tausch produces three models of electric guitars:
665
We'll focus on Tausch's most popular model, the 665. Upon first glance, this model reminds one of the time-honored T-style slab guitar. But similarities end there due to this guitar's many modern improvements.
This guitar comes in several variations, including "Raw", "Deluxe", and "Raw Deluxe".
Most compelling is the extended (665mm or 26-3/16") scale length. This provides better support for alternate and lower tunings—such as "Drop D"—and other sonic possibilities.
Quality, construction and design features include:
The 665 can be highly customized. Options include aged finishes, plumwood fingerboard, quilt maple top, a third single-coil pickup, P-90 style pickups, and tremolo bridges.
